The original church building was erected in 1829 on the south shore of the Ottawa River – a short distance away at historic Pinhey’s Point.  That makes this church one of the very oldest and most historically significant Christian congregations in the entire Eastern Ontario/Ottawa Valley region.

St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Ottawa

Brand new commission work completed and delivered! 

Standing on the corner of Wellington at Kent street for over 180 years, St.Andrew's 
Presbyterian Church was built in a Neo-Gothic style and the architectural plan includes features such as lancet windows, modified butresses and tracery.

This original painting was done with acrylics on a 24"-36" gallery canvas.

Gaia Java Coffee New Exhibition

New show at Stittsville's Gaia Java Coffee Company. Come out for the most delicious coffee roasted in small quantities on-site daily in order to maintain maximum freshness and the highest quality.

Show runs from January 15th until March 5th,  2017.

YES!  It is coming, but this painting has so much detail it's taking me awhile. A month in total. Working day and (all) night and I hope to complete it by next week.

Entitled 'Horaceville Heritage'
Pinhey's Point Historical Site

The Honourable Hamnet Kirks Pinhey (1784-1857) , on land granted to him for service in the Napoleonic Wars, Pinhey built a substantial estate comprising several log and stone structures. Later, he became prominent in local affairs and held a number of public offices.

Location: At Horaceville, Pinhey's former estate beside the Ottawa River, Regional Road 21 north of Road 49, near South March - about 20 km from downtown Ottawa.
